A sustainable wedding? Yes! And above all a brilliant party.
You want a wedding that’s just really fun, and that does some good along the way. Love it! No lecture and no signs explaining things. Just a party everyone keeps talking about, where everything happens to be sustainable too.

Who I love to work for
- you want a brilliant wedding that does some good too
- you don’t feel like a party full of explanations
- you’d rather do something special than buy lots of stuff
- you’re getting married in the Netherlands, or in Germany within train distance
Fun first, the rest follows
At your wedding, nobody hears the word sustainable. We just make it really fun, and meanwhile we choose smart together. Your guests only notice it’s a brilliant party. And yes, the word sustainable shows up quite a lot on this page. That’s so you can find me, hehe. But not at your wedding, promise!
Fun, and good as it happens
- VenueA place you can reach by train or bike. Or where everyone stays the night and you have breakfast together the next morning.
- FoodA caterer who cooks with what’s growing right now, from farmers nearby. Leftovers go home with your guests.
- DrinksBeer from the brewery around the corner, straight from the tap.
- FlowersSeasonal flowers from a local grower. At the end, everyone takes a bunch home.
- StylingRented, borrowed and second hand. Afterwards, everything simply goes back.
- TransportA shuttle bus from the station, with music on board. The party starts on the way.
- OutfitsA second hand dress, something rented, or something you’ll wear often afterwards.
- TogetherSomething your guests do together, so they really get to know each other and go home with something new.
- MakersA photographer, band, DJ or officiant from nearby.
We just don’t do this
- No overconsumption. No piles of stuff you use once and then throw away.
- No balloons released into the sky.
- No destination weddings. I organise in the Netherlands, or in Germany if you can get there by train. No further than that.
What I do
Just like any wedding, and with every choice we look together at whether it can be more fun and smarter. After our first coffee, you get a proposal made to measure.
Questions about a sustainable wedding
Not necessarily. Less stuff and renting instead of buying actually saves money. Local food is sometimes a bit more expensive, you’ll see that in the proposal.
